

John was born in Greenville, Pennsylvania on November 20th, 1944, to William and Sophie (Potase) Gill. John grew up in Bixby, Oklahoma, where he definitely left his mark. John went into the military in 1961. While serving in the Army and patrolling the Berlin Wall, he met the love of his life, Bianca Stenger, from Berlin, Germany. They were married and had three children Chan, Terry and Chanel. John also served in Vietnam. After the military John went on to be one of the best electricians a man could be. He was honest, reliable and his reputation for being one of the best can still be heard today. John and Bianca were married 47 years, until Bianca passed on March 1st, 2010.
John is survived by their children Chan (Danielle) Gill of Pontiac, Illinois, Chanel Gill of Phoenix, Arizona. Grandchildren Shelbie Gill, Brianna (Bryce) Davis, Haleigh (Zac) Schopp, John John (Christina) Gill, Aubrey (Eric) Zega, Dakota Gill, Danny “Pnut” Gill. Great-grandchildren, Abel “AJ”, Adrian, Bianca, Alessia, Ezekiel, Elijah, Barbara and Simon. He is also survived by his brother, William (Ruby) Gill
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Bianca, infant son Terry, and siblings Michael Gill, Sandra Gill and Stanley Gill.
John loved his family and was there for them until the day he passed. John is with the love of his life again Bianca and he is not hurting anymore. To his grandsons he was Superman! John Gill, the man, the myth, the legend.
A memorial service will be held, information to come.
