John Rice, 59, of Phoenix passed away August 14th, 2014. A native of San Francisco, John spent most of his life in The Valley. He attended Maryvale High School where he made many lifelong friends. John was a hardworking and successful independent contractor who loved Mopar cars, but he felt his greatest achievement and joy was his family. In 1984 John married Sue Adams; together they had Jennifer Marie and “Buster” (John Victor.) Compassionate and strong, John leaves a legacy of lives he impacted for good. John joins his parents Buster and Rhoda Rice, and his younger brother Bill Rice resting in peace and Love. He is survived by his wife Sue Rice, children Jennifer and Buster, brother Wendy (Lynn) Rice, sister Lynda Medina, and many loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
