
Jack proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1977 as a member of the first Mobile Communications Group. First Combat Communications Squadrons motto was "First In-Last Out". He completed three tours in Vietnam and attained the rank of E-5 in just four years, a testament to his dedication and leadership.
Following his military service, Jack built a long and respected career in condominium management. He was a valued member of both the American Hotel and Lodging Association and the Colorado Hotel and Lodging Association. In recognition of his significant contributions to the industry, he was inducted into the Colorado Hotel and Lodging Association Hall of Fame in 2007. In 1999 Jack collaborated with Bob Gentry and Pedro Mandoki to publish "Resort Condominium Ownership Management", further cementing his professional legacy.
Jack was well known for his quick wit, vast repertoire of jokes and unforgettable sense of humor, which brought laughter to friends, family and colleagues alike.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Deborah Rush; his children James Rush and Lily, with grandchildren Conor and Emily; Amy Reynolds and husband Dan Reynolds with grandchildren Henry and Luke; and David Rush with grandson Hayden. Jack is also survived by his siblings Sally Gallagher, Dennis Rush, Monica Rush, Patrick Rush and Megan Mayer.
Jack was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Rush.
