John Ray Saunders, 50, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away Saturday, March 23, 2014. He was born to the late Delores Jean Slaughter on May 30th 1963, in Phoenix, Arizona. He was a graduate of Moon Valley High Schoo,l class of 1981, go Rockets! John was a fun loving man that was filled with life and love. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a man that tried to make everyone feel comfortable and included. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, traveling, playing pool, and enjoyed his Heineken (occasionally a Gin a Tonic). John is survived by his six children: Kristoffer and Claudia of Phoenix, Simon and Tina of Glendale, John Andrew of Phoenix, and Tabitha of Phoenix. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Peiten, Adam, Audrey, and Leila. A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 10:00 to 11:00 followed by a funeral service at 11:00 at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 N. 27th Ave in Phoniex, AZ.
