Johnnie C Adair

John Adair, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away peacefully on May 25, 2023 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born October 15, 1943 to the late Luther and Ruby Adair of Phoenix, Arizona.

John is survived by his loving wife Shirley, daughter Deborah, daughter Cheryl and her husband Bill Cox. He was a cherished grandfather to Jeremy Davis, Chelsea and her husband Jacob Brown, and Connor, Dakota and Nick Cox. He was a great-grandfather to Waylon, and soon to be, Winnie Brown. John is also survived by his brother Ron Adair and sister Martha Minks.

John was known for his work in the ministry, spending 61 years in various roles. He graduated from and became an ordained minister through Life Bible College in California. He was Pastor of Trinity Fellowship Church for the last 40 years. John also spent 30 years in his own accounting and tax preparation business after several years with Lockheed Martin.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the funeral Tuesday, June 6th, at 11:00 a.m. at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary located at 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027. Graveside committal will take place following the service.

John Adair will be remembered for his warm heart, dedication to his family and his desire to share his love of Jesus with everyone he met. May everyone find solace in the memories we shared together.
