Jonah Michael Foree

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jonah Michael Foree. He was 42 years young and leaves behind his mother Debbora P. Tafoya, father Daniel W. Foree, brothers Joshua C. Foree, Jason M. Foree (Andrea Foree) and Jacob D. Foree (Shanae Foree) and grandmother Genevieve Tafoya. Jonah Passed February 17th, 2022 at 4:55 in the early evening surrounded by family and friends. Jonah was born to Debbora Tafoya and Dan Foree July 12th, 1979. As a young child Jonah’s big heart was already showing. He enjoyed reading in his room, all animals and being outdoors. After receiving his first guitar for christmas as a young man his love for music began to grow. He started the band Ikonoklast in his early 20s and went on to become very well known for his songs and musical talent. After having great success with his first band he went on to create two other bands, Hardwire and Goth Brooks. Jonah was well loved by his family and close friends and was the glue that kept them all together after high school. Jonah loved being with his family and friends, making them laugh or entertaining them with his extreme vocals, while he sang Sweet Caroline in true Jonah style. Jonah will never be forgotten, he will live on through his music, family and friends, rock in peace Jonah, you will be forever missed.
