Uncle Joe, you had such a way of making every child feel that they were the best most special child in the whole world.  Such a big heart with so much love. So many wonderful memories - I will always be grateful that you were my Uncle Joe.

Uncle Joe was a guiding light for me and so many others. I'll miss his warmth, his positive outlook and his terrific sense of humor. I cherish every moment we've spent together and keep them in my heart. I love him dearly.

Uncle Joe, I loved how much you cherished your family.  I could hear the pride in your voice whenever you gave me updates on how the family was doing out in Arizona.  Your love has always been a great comfort.  I can still see my mom smiling when she picked up the phone and it was you on the other end.  I loved you for loving my Mom so very much.  You were such a great influence on "Margi's kids."  You would walk over 10 miles just to spend time with us.  I cherish those memories-- walking around the block with you, holding hands, throwing pebbles down the sewer, and you sharing your lifesavers with me.   It may seem like small stuff, but when you're a little kid, it's big stuff, and it stays with you forever.   

Rest in peace, Uncle Joe.  Thank you for being such a positive force in my life--for loving me unconditionally.  You've been a great listener and an anchor when the seas got rough.  Thanks for always trying to make me laugh, and for always reminding me that family is everything. 

If everyone had an Uncle Joe, the world would be a better place for sure.

I remember when we to Arizona and we came visit you , you were fun to hang out with and i also liked talking on the phone with you . You are my favorite Great Uncle :]

We miss you very much Joe, but we know you are very happy, as soon as you got home Jesus gave you a big hug. We will be together soon as our Lord and Saviour will be taken his chrildren home and we all can do the Irish jig, what a Glorious day that will be. Love you brother and you will be greatly missed.

My favorite memory of you is when I was in first grade....I cut my finger requiring stitches....you took me to the doctor for him to check my stitches and afterwards, you bought me a chocolate icecream cone! :)  Fast forward to 2008....you were my Prayer Warrior while I was going through breast cancer.  You always made sure I was on the prayer lists at church, sent me inspirational cards and always told me that Jesus would heal me....and He did!! I can't thank you enough for the love and support you gave me during that time.  You always had a smile on your face and never complained even though I knew you were not feeling well.  Now you are in Jesus' arms feeling free, dancing and so very happy!  I LOVE YOU, UNCLE JOEY!  You will be missed but I know I will see you again one day!!  Love, your Niece, Debbie Stewart Adame
