Josephine Fatula

She was born in Johnstown, PA on October 26, 1924 to Joseph and Mary Yuhaschik. She had three brothers: John, Joseph, and Daniel and four sisters: Margie Luprek, Milly Pischurich, Ann Fesko and Mary Simbak.

Jo was an outstanding seamstress and was always in her sewing room. She loved to grow vegetables and had beautiful flowers throughout the yard. In her younger years, she was a regular at Roseland Skating rinks where she met her husband George. Her favorite past time was playing rummy cubes and Hand and Foot card game.

She will be greatly missed by her children Elaine Evers, Nancy Williams and husband Bill, James Fatula and wife Veronica, Angela Page and husband John, Mary Jo Hersom and husband Tim, and son-in-law John Balencic. Grandchildren: Jeffrey Evers and wife Laura, Erin Evers and husband Justin Lopez, Daniel Gavagan and wife Christie, David Williams and wife Valerie, Michael Fatula, Mathew Page and wife Carla, Amanda Santone and husband Chris, Jason Ditko and Nikki Ditko. As well as great-grandchildren: Connor and Aidan Evers, George and Josef Gavagan, Hunter, Nathan, Zayden and Grace Fatula, Charlie and Emmie Williams, Charlotte Santone and Eleanor Lopez.

A private family service will be held at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary.
