Josephine Anne Wright, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on January 24, 2025, at the age of 89 years old. Jo was born on December 4, 1935, in Aripine, Arizona, the daughter of Lloyd and Mildred Blanche (Johnson) Parker.
Jo was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an animal lover, particularly of cats, an avid Phoenix Suns fan, and a connoisseur of fine wine. Mom valued family and tradition above all else and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Rivley Jerome Wright. Jo is survived by her three sons, Jeffrey Wright, Timothy (Deborah) Wright, and Marc Wright; her granddaughters Samantha Wright-Doerhoff and Vanessa Wright-Calento; and her four great-grandchildren; as well as close family friends Chuck and Diana Seymour.
The Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 11:00am at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary, 200 W. Beardsley Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85027.
