Joshua Aaron Arment

Joshua Aaron Arment born May, 9th 1989 in Fort Campbell, KY to parents Cathleen & Robert Arment Jr. The youngest of three and the only boy. His older sisters were Tabitha (eldest) & and Sabrina (middle). He faced adversity from birth with his diagnosis of spina bifida and later hydrocephalus. Medical experts believed he would never be able to walk, but at the age of three, he proved all the doctors wrong.

At a young age, he was selfless, caring, courageous. He would always kill the spiders for his sisters except the barking ones he could never seem to find (inside joke). Always do whatever they asked, even if it meant letting them dress him up like a girl. He loved to be outdoors playing and riding bikes. He loved the Suns, especially Charles Barkley, wrestling, Chuck Norris, and any fast and furious movie. As he got older, his love for music, mostly rock, concerts, and movies became his passion. Rarely missing the opportunity to go to a slipknot concert.

The person he admired and looked up to the most though was his dad. While stationed in Colorado Springs Colorado, he joined a buddy ball baseball league with his dad. He fell in love with bowling like his dad even to join the 2002 youth Paralympics and receiving the silver medal for bowling.

He was an amazing uncle to both his nieces, Alexis and Chloe. Reluctantly having to take Alexis with him and his friends wherever he went like the little sister he never had and having to share all his toys. To helping watch and babysit and care for Chloe.

He was stubborn, hard headed, and like to do things his way, but he trusted and cared for everybody. He gave even when he didn’t have. He was loved and made an impact on those of us that knew him, that grew up with him. Those of us that saw all the challenges that he had to face that none of us have ever had to live through. Even though he let it get to him sometimes and let it get him down, he was resilient. He will be deeply missed.
