Juana Martinez Maciel

Juana Martinez Maciel, 90, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on October 7, 2015 with her family near her side. She was born on August 29, 1925, in Riverside, California to Merced and Petra (nee Amesquita) Martinez.

Juana was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, always loving and caring for her family and will be forever missed. Juana is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Paul R. Maciel, passing away in 2014. Juana is survived by her five children, Paul Jr and wife Patti Maciel, Michael R and wife Cathy Maciel, Yolanda Luna, Charles Maciel and Carol Maciel; eleven grandchildren, Aaron and wife Sandra, Alisha, Michael and wife Marissa, Megan, Michelle, Eddie, Jessica and husband Matt, Gabriella, Charles Paul, Elena and Anthony; nine dear great-grandchildren, Dominik, Hannah, David, Aleena, Jordan, Isabella, Ryan, Alexis Caroline and two great-grandbabies on the way; three sisters, the late Margaret Cuevas , Celestino Martinez and Ruth Rangel.

The Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 AM, with the Rosary beginning at 10:00 AM, Friday, October 23, 2015 at St. Vincent de Paul, Catholic Church, 3140 N. 51st Ave., Phoenix, AZ. The Interment will follow immediately at 1:00 pm at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix, AZ.
