77 of Phoenix, AZ went home to be with our Lord Savior on June 12, 2025. Juanita “Nita” was born on March 16, 1948, in Phoenix, AZ to Rosario and Alice Lopez. Nita joined her parents, Rosario and Alice, in heaven and reunited with her older sister, Nancy, who went home in 2018.
Nita is survived by her loving husband, Alfredo, who affectionally called her “his BeeVee” and her two daughters, Roseanna Lopez and Alicia Moore (Ted), as well as her two sisters, Joyce Lopez-Powell and Mary Lopez. Nita is also survived by three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Nita worked at Revlon for 37 years, was a union member and steward. She retired from Revlon May 05, 2005. Nita had many health issues, and her strength was an inspiration to others; as the scripture says in Timothy 4:7, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept my faith.” She was the kindest, most patient and classiest Nana ever, may she soar with butterflies and rest in eternal peace.
