Juliette "Judy" May Gilcrease-Mandel

Juliette “Judy” May Gilcrease-Mandel, age 78, of Phoenix Arizona passed away on January 20, 2022. Judy was born on May 4, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois. She married her high school sweetheart, Roger Mandel, in 1962. Judy moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1976 with her husband and 5 children. Judy loved all animals, and she would have rescued every cat and dog in the world if she could. She enjoyed drawing, painting, gardening, reading, playing piano, and shopping. However, her favorite thing in the world was spending time with her family. Her family will forever miss her Judyisms. Judy is survived by her sister’s Joan and husband Butch, and Deb and husband John. Two sons, Brian and wife Jenn, Randy and wife Sherri. Three daughters, Eileen and husband Ron, Michelle and husband Desi, Margo and husband Dave. Eight grandchildren, Candice, Michael, Nikki, Randi, Ryne, Reyce, Cole, and Jake. Six great-grandchildren, Jacob, Nathan, Sophia, Brayden, Radley, and Skyler. In remembrance of Judy, Randi Holman is starting an animal rescue “Judy’s Wish Rescue and Sanctuary”.
