Karishma Bhakti Shepherd

Karishma 'Kadi' Bhakti Shepherd, age 2, was born to Lincoln and Prema Shepherd on April 28th, 2011. Karishma truly lived up to her name as she was a 'Miracle' from God. Her presence was cherished, her smile was uplifting, her passionate little spirit was strong, determined, and elevated the lives of all she touched. Karishma's life encompassed a vast array of hands; hands of those she loved, those who needed her love; tender, young, old, strong, and helping hands. It was ultimately the divine hand of God that picked the most lovely little flower of all, and took Kadi home on May 30th, 2013. Kadi's precious little spirit will live on in the heart and soul of her Father- Lincoln Shepherd, Mother- Prema Shepherd, Grandmother- Vanea Hanson, Uncles- Matthew Cody and Steven Hall, Aunts- Valerie Hall, Tashina Hanson, Nichelle Cody, Rosa Bohman, and Kristine Hanson, and cousins- Emmanuel, Malachi, D'Naya, Diana, Alijah, Viana, Jordan, Aryanna, Tatyanna, and Carlos. Kadi will also be missed by a long line of her native family from the Tobacco Clan including Bessie Shepherd (great grandmother), Lincoln Shepherd (grandfather), Rosabell, Rose, Hope, Dwayne, Millie, Monique, Tom, Jibby, and so very many more Shepherd and Hanson relatives, and countless friends.

Our sweet baby girl's vibrant and graceful light brightened our lives and shall continually illuminate our paths as we journey to meet her in heaven.

There is a special Angel in Heaven

that is part of me.

It is not where I wanted her

but where God wanted her to be.

she was here but just a moment

like a night time shooting star.

And though she is in Heaven

she isn't very far.

She toughed the heart of many

like only an Angel can do.

So I send this special message

to the Heaven up above.

Please take care of my Angel

And send her all my LOVE.
