Kelly was born on June 13th, 1968, in Jackson, New Jersey, and moved to Phoenix, Arizona, in 1977. She attended Liberty Elementary School and Desert Shadows Middle School. She graduated from Horizon High School and from the University of Arizona in 1990.
Kelly will be deeply missed by her husband, Mike; daughter, Phoebe; son-in-law, Jacob; mother, Gail; brother, Tom; and sister, Christine. She is preceded in death by her sister, Lynn; father, Tom; and mother-in-law, Sue Glawe.
Kelly had a love for family, friends, and all things sports-related. She spent her days listening to music, reading, sharing and creating stories, finding recipes, and most importantly, laughing with her family. She was afraid of nothing and loved trying new things. She was a positive role model to all and lived her life with enthusiasm and grace. She carried herself with a bright light of positivity and exuded confidence. She was very independent and enjoyed the simple things in life, like a good cocktail, her favorite songs, or even a sunflower. She will always be known as “SPECIAL K” to all of us.
