Kenneth Lee White Jr.

Kenneth L. White, Jr. (Ken) passed away at his home in Phoenix, Arizona, on May 21, 2026, at age 95. He was born on September 7, 1930, in New Castle, Pennsylvania, to Kenneth Sr. and Annabelle White. A graduate of New Castle High School, he joined the army and served during the Korean War from 1950 to 1952. Ken was a plumbing and building contractor and was recognized throughout his career for his honesty, integrity, and quality workmanship on residential and commercial projects.

Ken was a member of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania F & M Lodge of the Craft #433 for 66 years serving as the Worshipful Master in 1966. He was also an active member in the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks for 48 years, becoming a lifetime member in 2009. In 1990, he served as the Exalted Ruler at the Phoenix, Arizona, Elks Lodge #335.

Kenneth is survived by the love of his life, Marlyn and his beloved husky Maya, his daughters Lynn White Elmore (Mike) and Adrian Hensell (Ralph) and son, Andrew Shivey (Erin), nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his oldest son, Kenneth L. White III, his sister, Betty Doyle, brother Robert E. White, and his parents.

Kenneth will be inurned at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. In lieu of flowers the family requests you make a donation in Ken’s name to the Arizona Humane Society or Arizona husky rescue.
