Kent M. Savage made his way into the loving arms of God on June 8, 2021 just days after his 80th birthday. Kent was born June 4, 1941 in Kimball, NE. In 1972, he settled in Phoenix making it his permanent home. He spent his young adult life as a minister for the United Methodist Church. He retired from the ministry and started a new career in the IT industry. He spent his second retirement traveling in his RV and volunteering at the Mingus Mountain Camp in Arizona. He is survived by three daughters, Mary Kay Mills, Elizabeth Pulley, and Rebecca Fitzpatrick, five grandchildren and one great-grandson, his sister, Linda Newberry and brother, Steve Savage as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In honor of his love of the ministry and the joy he received from his volunteer work at Mingus camp, we are requesting that in lieu of flowers donations be given to Mingus Camp Scholarships, in Memory of Mr. Kent, and sent to Desert Southwest Conference at PO BOX 32830, Phoenix AZ 85064.
