I’ve been trying to figure out how to write this since Kevin passed. Nothing about this has been easy, and honestly, I’m still struggling to make sense of losing him. Kevin meant so much to us.

Kevin came into our home as a roommate, but it didn’t take long before he became family.

To McKenna, my daughter, and me, Kevin and Bandit became so much more than a person sharing our space and home. He became part of our everyday life: dinners together, random conversations, the dogs, jamming out to music, quiet nights, celebrating our birthday(s) together,  hanging Christmas lights, helping with McKenna’s school projects, especially her car project that took months, going to Kenna’s softball games, and all the little moments that somehow meant more because Kevin was part of them.

Kevin brought a calmness to our home. He was funny, dependable, and comforting in a way that’s hard to explain unless you knew him. He had a way of making things feel okay just by being there.

Coming home hasn’t felt the same since he’s been gone. The house is quieter now. Different. There’s an emptiness here that’s hard to put into words, and I know life won’t ever feel quite the same.

Anyone who knew Kevin knows how giving he was. Even at the end, he was still helping others through organ donation, which feels so true to who he was. That kind of kindness says everything about the person he was.

Losing someone you love leaves you with so many wishes. I wish we had taken more pictures. I wish we’d had more time, more memories, more concerts, and more ordinary nights together that I never thought I’d miss this much.

As hard as this grief has been, I’m also incredibly grateful. Kevin brought so much love, laughter, comfort, and joy into our lives, and I’ll always be thankful for the time we had with him.

Thank you for everything, Kevin. Thank you for your friendship, your love, and for the place you’ll always hold in our hearts and in our home. Until we meet again, my beautiful friend. ❤️

The world is a little quieter without Kevin.
A truly gentle soul, Kevin touched everyone he met with kindness and a genuine heart. Kevin found his greatest joy in life's simple pleasures.

Whether he was attending a concert, listening to his favorite music, or losing himself in a video game, he embraced every moment with a smile. He was a devoted lover of his Husky, Bandit, whom he adored to the moon and back.

Some of Kevin's happiest hours were spent at the track racing RC cars with his brother, AJ, or watching UFC and football. He was also well-known for his love of a good meal—especially Pub Burgers, pizza, and any home-cooked crockpot dish.

Kevin was more than a friend to many; he was a constant, steady presence who checked in daily just to "shoot the breeze" and navigate the world together. He will be deeply missed by his brother AJ, his beloved Bandit, and the many friends he considered family.

Rest easy.

My wife &I met Kevin for the first time over this last Christmas Holiday Season at our home in the Prescott Valley area.
He joined us for a Holiday meal along with his brother AJ and my daughter 
I thought I was tall at 6’ 4” but Kevin had me by a couple of inches or so !
We talked about cars and trucks and really had a good time !
I’m so glad we had the opportunity to meet Kevin and he will surely be missed !

Kevin and I always had a connection.  We met in high school and reconnected 6 yrs ago.  His humor and the things that he would say would have myself and everyone rolling.  He went through so much in his life yet was the nicest, big hearted and respectful guy I knew, at least to me.  I wish he truly knew how loved he was.  All I wanted was for him to be happy in life.  I will cherish all our memories together.  From concerts, watching his Lions and my Eagles, UFC, and watching movies.  He were amazing with my daughter and with me.  Forever grateful I had him in my life.  Forever will be missed and forever  will be loved.

I lost my oldest friend, and it’s hard to put into words what that really means.

We didn’t just know each other, we built a lifetime of friendship. The kind that takes years, trust, and shared moments to create. We grew up side by side, living life fully, fishing, long nights gaming, concerts, and countless hours just laughing together. As we got older, that didn’t change. It just evolved, still showing up for each other through every stage of life.

He was a gentle giant, a big presence, a little salty on the outside, but one of the kindest people I’ve ever known. Life threw more at him than most could handle, and he carried it all without complaint. That quiet strength defined him.

You don’t find friendships like that. You build them. And we did.

There is no version of my life without him in it. And now there has to be.

I’ll miss him more than words can hold.

You were the light my world needed.
