Kirk Maynard passed away peacefully in Phoenix, AZ on July 13, 2010. Maynard was born to Perlina and Millard Maynard in Wayne County, WV on September 16, 1929. He proudly served his country as a paratrooper in the United States Army during WWII. Maynard had made his home in the Valley of the Sun since 1958. He is survivied by his adored wife of 65 years, Lenzie Lee Maynard; his devoted children John (Brenda) Maynard, Debbie (Scott) Kalna, Pam (Jeff) Manchester; Donnie (Monica) Maynard and Willie (Laura) Maynard; 19 granchildren, 19 great grandchildren 1 great great grandchild; his nephew Millard and Niece Edna. Kirk was predeceased by his treasured son, Michael. Visitation will be Monday, July 19, 2010 at 9:00am at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary, 200 W. Beardsley Rd., Phoenix, AZ with a Service of Remembrance beginning at 10:00 am. Burial, with Military Honors will follow at Phoenix Memorial Park.
