Though his passing was sudden, the love he gave throughout his life will remain with us forever. Larry was a kindhearted man whose warmth, generosity, and genuine spirit touched everyone he met. He had a way of making people feel welcome, and he was loved by the many people whose lives were made better simply by knowing him.
Larry devoted many years of his life to serving as a manager at the phone company, building connections not only through his work but also through the friendships and relationships he formed along the way. To know Larry was to know a man with a good heart—someone who cared deeply for those around him. He was also a proud veteran who served his country in the United States Navy.
Above all, Larry’s family was his greatest treasure. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 32 years, Lisa Lasky; his two daughters, Kristina (Erica) Gauchat and Shelby (Brianna) Key; and his two grandsons, Theodore and Kiowa Key, who brought him immeasurable joy. He was an incredible grandfather who created memories his family will cherish for generations. One of their most treasured traditions was playing with Hot Wheels every Christmas, a simple but beautiful reminder of the time, love, and happiness he gave so freely. Those moments will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
Larry is also survived by his two younger brothers, Rodney Lasky and Chris (Karen) Lasky. As the oldest, he was more than a brother; he was their protector and someone they could look up to and count on. His love for them reflected the loyalty and devotion he brought to every relationship in his life.
Larry’s unexpected passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved him. While words cannot fully express the pain of losing someone so special, we find comfort in the memories he created the love he shared, and the countless lives he touched.
He will be remembered for his kindness, his protective nature, his love for his family, and the quiet, lasting impact he made on everyone, fortunate enough to know him.
Though he may no longer be physically with us, his love will live on through his wife, daughters, grandsons, brothers, and all those who had the privilege of calling him family or friend.
Larry was deeply loved, will be forever missed, and will never be forgotten.
A celebration of Larry’s life is being planned, and details will be provided at a later date.
