Laura Joan Blank, 78, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away July 26, 2025. Laura was born and raised in New York City, before moving to Phoenix in the early 1970’s. She was a retired elementary school teacher. Laura had a big heart and great love of dogs. She participated in the Animal-Assisted Therapy Program of Phoenix Children’s Hospital and in a similar program at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Phoenix. She is survived by her brother, Barry Blank (Ginger Duran), and two nieces, Joanne Blank, Reykjavik Iceland, and Kathleen Blank, Brooklyn, New York. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Therapy Dogs, Inc. or the Arizona Humane Society. A celebration of her life will be held at a time to be determined.
