Lauri’s life was marked by steady determination and resilience. As a young mother, she completed high school while carrying the responsibilities of parenthood, and more than a decade later she returned to finish vocational school—an enduring reflection of her hard work and resolve to keep moving forward, no matter the season of life.
In her career, Lauri was deeply valued by those who worked alongside her. Coworkers knew her as someone who would listen without judgment and make space for others, offering support with sincerity and warmth. Even in everyday moments, her humor and affection shone through—she was known for ending conversations not with a simple goodbye, but with her familiar and heartfelt words: “Love ya!”
Lauri found joy in experiences and in the people she held close. She loved to travel, go to the beach, and spend time with family. At home, her hands were rarely still—gardening, cooking, and painting were among the ways she brought beauty and comfort into daily life. She was also celebrated for her talent at the grill, an amazing BBQ smoker and true “Grill Master,” creating meals that gathered people together and turned ordinary days into cherished memories.
She also sought growth and connection through community. Through Toast Masters, she pursued networking and skill building through work and church, approaching each opportunity with an adventurous spirit and the quiet confidence of someone willing to learn, participate, and contribute.
Lauri is survived by her husband, Jeremy; her two daughters, Hiedi and Alicia; and her siblings, Jennifer, Chris, and Richard. She was preceded in death by her youngest son, Adam.
With gratitude and love, the family extends a heartfelt thank you to all of Lauri’s friends and family that she loved so much. Her guiding reminder remains: “Living for the memories not items.”
