Laurie Louise Sperry, 60, of Glendale, AZ, passed away June 3, 2016.She was born in Charlotte, MI on June 5, 1955.Laurie graduated valedictorian from Charlotte High School and received a Bachelor of Science from Central Michigan University. She was married to Peter Frank Sperry on August 6, 1977.Laurie had a career in education with the Alhambra Elementary School District.She was a member of the Cactus Country Collectors Club and Millie’s Angels Hallmark clubs and had a passion for the Awana program at her church, Thomas Road Baptist Church, as well as collecting Hallmark Ornaments.She was preceded by her parents Donald and Mary Klaiss and her husband Peter Sperry. She was survived by her son Timothy Sperry and her siblings, Donald (Martha) Klaiss, Alan (Trina) Klaiss, Brian (Kristi) Klaiss, Gary (Susan) Klaiss and Dawn (Brian) Gibbs.Laurie is dearly loved and will be sorely missed.
