Lawrence B. Foley, 73, of Phoenix, passed away April 11, 2013 surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born March 8, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Foley is a US Army veteran having served during the Viet Nam War and is a member of the American Legion. A Phoenix resident for 39 years, he retired from Shamrock Foods in 2002 after 28+ years of service. After retiring he enjoyed spending his summers at their summer home in Heber Overgaard, Arizona. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joyce, Daughter Dawn (Michael) Martin and son Gregory (Rosalind) Foley, brother, Michael, sister, Marlene Warmowski, and grandchildren, Alexandra Martin and Orion Martin. Memorial mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at St. Joachim & St. Anne Roman Catholic Church, 11625 N. 111th Avenue, Sun City, AZ. Interment will be held on a later date at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. Donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
