Lee F Tang was born on November 14, 1925 in Canton China to Harry S., and Mary Tang. He immigrated with his mother to Phoenix, Arizona when he was only 4 months old. Lee passed away suddenly on April 18, 2019 of a heart attack, with one of his sons Gerry by his side.
Lee graduated around 1942 from Phoenix Union High School, and attended the University of Utah for 3 years studying engineering. He was a cook for many years for the valley’s Chinese restaurant run by the Kim S. Tang family. His second profession known by many was a backroom gambler and he was very good at it.
He is survived by his brothers Don, Roy his wife Jenny, Jim, and his sister Sue and her husband Jerry, with a host of nieces and nephews.
Lee leaves behind his companion for many years Gracie Richardson, and survived by his sons Leland, Gerry, Brian, and his daughters Brenda, Rosamond, and Toni. He has 31 grandkids, 89 great grandkids, and 7 great great grandchild.
