Leola Pearl Richardson

Leola was born on September 5, 1926 on her Family's Ranch in Corona NM, the daughter of Mary and Thomas Colbaugh.

In 1955, Leola moved to her Arizona home. She spent her adult life as a loving mother and housewife, and the most Beloved Nonnie ever. Leola and Bob were the proprietors of Weldons Stables and MacDonalds Ranch to name just a few.

Leola was blessed with a Large family, and always Proudly referred to them as "Yours, Mine, and Ours". Leola had three children with Dan Cathey,- Dana, Cheryl and Dennis, six with Bob Richardson - Ann, Pam, Jan, Tom, Lynette and Robby and step Mother to Bob's boys, Fred, Gene and Hal. She loved all her family, and kept up with everyone. As a testimony to her, she was even a beloved Mother in Law.

There were over a Hundred Grands. Which is what Nonnie Lived for, and spent her life caring for. She especially loved seeing the babies. They brought her so much Joy. She had pictures of all displayed in her home, and knew every birthday.

Leola was a Devout Believer who always shared her faith and love, with family and friends through her actions. Her biggest testimony was her life. She walked the talk everyday with her kindness and wisdom. Her legacy of Love will be forever missed, and will leave a void in our lives that cannot be replaced. We can honor her by living her life lessons, and passing them on to the next generations.

Leola was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Thomas (Becca) Colbaugh, Sam Colbaugh, sister Margie Wood, her daughter Cheryl Loudermilk, Grandson Dallas Dausman, grandson Ryden Robert Richardson. Stepsons, Gene, and Fred Richardson, step granddaughter Connie Allen, and step great grandson James Jones.

A reception and celebration of Life will be held on November 15, 2023 at 1:30 at Desert Foothills Barn, Located Just West of MacDonalds Ranch ~Take Scottsdale to Jomax Road ~West to Yellow Coyote cutout and turn south. There will be signs.
