Leonard D. Hawke, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013. Leonard was born on November 9, 1938 in Iowa to parents Ernest T. Hawke and Twila O. Young. He spent 23 years in the United States Army where he retired as a Sergeant First Class, then spent 19 years working for Motorola. He married his wife, Helen, in 1969 and moved to Arizona ten years later. Leonard is survived by his wife, Helen Hawke (Tucson); Daughter, Tammy Davis (Phoenix); sons, R. Scott Williams (Tucson) and Ricky Williams (Las Vegas); grandchildren, Terry, Travis, Tabby, Donald Jayne “DJ”, and Renee; and great-grandchildren Chris and Shiloh. He is loved and missed by all. Arrangements have been entrusted to Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 North 27th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85009.
