Lewis "Pete" Caffo Jr.

Surrounded by his loving wife and family, Pete Caffo passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at the age of 87 after a long struggle with Parkinson’s Disease.

Pete will be remembered by his loving wife of 65 years, Rosemary, and his daughters, Michelle (Rafael Borobia), Nancy (Steven VanKerkhove), and Mary Dodsworth. Pete will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Jenna (Dodsworth) Sutton (Devan Sutton), Jaymes Caffo, and Axel Borobia. Pete is predeceased by his sister Elizabeth Howe.

Pete met his wife at Mansfield University in Pennsylvania studying math education. He became a Guidance Counselor after completing his master’s degree at Penn State. He had a love of history, coin collecting, bookstores, golf, poker and Martini Club where his friends will always remember his dry sense of humor and his infectious laugh.

A small service will be held at this time in Phoenix, AZ and a celebration of life will follow this summer in Canandaigua, NY.
