

Lillian Louise Berry Johnson - 94 of Scottsdale, AZ died at the early hour of 1:05 A.M. on 12/29/2013 at Pueblo Norte Health Care Facility in the company of her loving daughter Carol. She had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease seven years earlier.
Lillian was the daughter of a Montana cowboy John Berry and his wife Eula Scivaly Berry. She was born in Dillon, MT Beaverhead County on 04/30/1919, the last survivor of the Berry family.
She married Sigfred Johnson in 1937 in Dillon, MT and lived on a ranch near where Sigfred grew up. In 1947, Sigfred and Lillian with their children Carol and Fred moved to Anchorage, AK. Lillian was a homemaker until the children grew up.
Lillian then went on and worked at the Alaska Native Health Services Hospital as the secretary to the director of nursing for 25 years until her retirement in 1980. She and Sigfred travelled many places, including living in South Korea in the late 1960's for Sigfred's work.
Lillian and Sigfred moved to Scottsdale, AZ in 1992 and she summered in Alaska until 1999.
Lillian is survived by her daughter Carol Moseley of Phoenix, AZ, her son Fred Johnson of Big Lake, AK, granddaughters Stephanie Moseley, Jaime Inman (Scott), Rydeen Stevens, grandson Lance Johnson (Trish), great grandsons Kyle and Luke Johnson and numerous nieces and nephews. Lillian is preceded in death by her husband Sigfred Johnson, her parents John and Eula Berry, brothers Herbert Berry and Clifford Berry and sister Aileen Peterson.
There will be a "Celebration of Life" memorial on Friday, 01/10/2014 at 1:30 P.M. at Pueblo Norte Health Care Chapel, 7100 East Mescal St, Scottsdale, AZ 85254. Lillian's wish was to be cremated and her ashes scattered at a later date along with her husband in Dillon, MT. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations kindly be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
