Ain't Linda, I miss you. I remember when you, Rick & Tom would come to Indiana on the farm. We went to Santa Claus Land and had fun on the farm. I enjoyed spending time with you and Uncle John both at your house and when you came back here. Now you have a new body. No more pain, no more sickness. I love you.

Linda, my dear cousin, such a courageous and faithful servant. Your long fought battles are now over and you can rest in the  arms of our Lord. You are an inspiration to all who knew you.

It was never easy for us being green and we both knew well what it meant.  We learned about elephants-in-waiting and were that to one another many times.  Oh, the adventures we shared--out of this world trips to Heber and staying overnight at the zoo in San Diego.  I will never forget you in your Aussie hat and t-shirt that said, "I slept with animals".  The last day I spent with you was with you receiving treatment.  I miss you terribly but am glad you won't need to do that anymore.  No one fought a better fight. Now rest, my dear, dear friend.

Kind, accepting, compassionate, selflessness, courageous, and joy are the words that describe your time with everyone you touched.  Your faith in our Lord was strong and I will always hold that dear to my heart.  You inspire me to do more to help others in need, and I will always strive to set an example for our family, as you have done.  Our comfort is that God has a room for you. I love you mama! I miss you so much but happy your in heaven where there is no pain, and you are now reunited with your son Chris and your mom&dad.

Mom, It was very hard to say goodbye to you. We know that you are in heaven to watch over us, but is very hard and heart breaking to know that you will not be there for us when we need you as you have always been. You know we will always love you and take very good care of Dad. God has gained another beautiful and loving person.

Mom, my heart aches that you are gone. I know you are in heaven with God and you are no longer in pain. It's still hard to believe.  You fought long and hard and always looked on the bright side of life. You are an inspiration to many and one of the strongest women I know.  I will always remember the fun camping trips we would go on taking walks, singing around the campfire, making s'mores and listening to the stories that Dad liked to tell. Thank you for loving us kids when you didn't have to and taking such good care of Dad.  You are going to be missed so much. I will never forget you. Linda, you have been a long-time friend, first at work and then in retirement.  You generously shared your cabin up north for a much needed escape when I was just a new friend.  And ever since, you've continued to show great strength in your life, and tirelessly helped others. I know the strong love of your family is with you now!

I will miss you, but know you are and will remain a true force of nature! Peace and love as you begin a new and joyous journey!

Inspiration, generosity, joy -- all gifts you've given freely to so many.  You're one of the strongest women I know, buoyed by humor, faith, and love of family and life.  The good advice and emotional support you've provided for friends and strangers have helped topple obstacles and lighten the loads we carry.  Your seat at lunch will be empty, but you'll always be there in my heart Linda Leah. Thank you for your friendship and for enriching my life.
