Linda Jane Greer

Linda Jane Tingley Greer, 90, of Avondale, passed valiantly through the veil on Sunday, September 29, 2024. A long-time resident of Avondale, Linda was known for her sweet spirit and abundant smiles, touching the lives of all who knew her.

Born on January 25, 1934, Linda dedicated her life to her loved ones and her church. She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she inspired all with her kindness and positivity. Her faith guided her, and she often mentioned how lucky we are to have such a loving Father in Heaven.

Linda found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from caring for her three-legged dog, Tinker, to singing "If You're Happy and You Know It", she shared her love, smiles, and warmth with neighbors and friends. She had a remarkable ability to cheer and uplift those around her, making her a beloved figure in her church and community.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gary. She is survived by a host of friends who cherished her like family. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at the Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary & Cemetery. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her gentle spirit and unwavering faith.
