Lois was a very smart intellectual woman who loved spending time outdoors so that she could be grounded with the Earth and all its natural beauty and energy it had to offer her.
She loved her camera and enjoyed capturing moments of anything that brought her joy. Nature, family, friends, animals, and anything that made her smile.
Lois taught grade school children for many years and then transitioned into being a Social Worker. She believed in her own rights just as well as the rights of others. If Lois wasn’t advocating for her rights, she was for someone else. She made moves strategically at all times due to her experiences throughout life. If she didn’t trust you she didn’t speak to you a lot. She always wanted to bring the beauty and positivity out of certain people she began to like. Although Lois was a very guarded person, when she loved, she loved wholeheartedly. It was a huge privilege to be loved by Lois.
Lois enjoyed the company of her beloved dog OCG who she raised as a baby. She raised a well-mannered dog who never left her side until it was his time to pass. Lois loved her dog deeply. Lois enjoyed getting her hair trimmed by her favorite gal. They would have wonderful conversations about life. Lois always left her chair feeling recharged and loved. She cared deeply for her.
Among other passions of Lois, she always wanted to help give to charities. From dog shelters to donating to wildlife to help save the trees, Lois took a stand on what she believed in. She always wanted the dogs to stay full and have shelter. And by golly, if you cut down a tree you better have a great explanation of why you destroyed the oxygen created by that tree!! Lois would donate every month to ensure she did her part. She would donate leaving the names of her friend's dogs, Nelson and Otis, who she always talked about and enjoyed seeing.
Lois was a loving person to the right people who captured her heart. I am so privileged to be one of those people. I can see you now listening to your meditation music and enjoying the world right now. May you be at peace.
Until my precious friend!
