My condolences to the family. It’s been a long time since I last saw you. I still remember when you used to come visit my dad and my mom. It was always a pleasure having you over. Primo you are now reunited with your sister Matilde and all the other Telles clan that have gone to rest. Primo thank you for your Service🇺🇸

Larry was such a wonderful man.  He loved my sister, his children and the rest of his beautiful family.  I will never forget how he cared for my parents in their later years.  When he married Bernice, it was the best thing that happened to our family.  All of us loved Larry for his kindness, his generosity, and his dry sense of humor.  We had some really good times as a family those summers in San Diego, and the times we spent in the California Bay Area when he was deployed to Thailand.  I especially loved the discussions we had on world politics and just about any subject.  He was such a great uncle to my girls, always including them like one of his own.  He was a brother to me, and I will always keep him in my memories.  It’s with a heavy heart I say goodbye.  

I will cherish this picture of my brother forever, It was the last time we got to see him.

My heart hurts for the entire Telles family. 
I have a fond memory of Larry at Turf Paradise about 6 years ago. We were celebrating Brandon’s birthday and guess who we met up with…yes Larry! He joined us and shared quite a few beers with my son Brandon. We didn’t have any winning tickets but that didn’t matter because we were just enjoying the time with Larry and new he was going to be in big trouble when he got home 😂

Larry was just a kind man with such a loving personality. He was always smiling and you could tell he loved his family beyond measure! I hope the many memories he created with his loved ones brings them some comfort through this difficult time.

My Uncle Larry is a big part of my childhood memories. He is the one who taught me how to play poker and card games each summer. I’m guessing he spent a lot of time doing this because I remember playing Spit, 7 Card Stud, 5 Card Draw, Solitaire, and learning how to shuffle. He was my Godfather, but I only knew that meant he would be there for me if I ever needed help- and he had been there for me at a very hard time. I am grateful he was a part of my little girl life. Sending my condolences to the Telles family. To my Aunt Bernice, my cousins, and their children. I am so sorry to hear about this loss and I hope you all find peace together. Much Love.xoxo

Larry had a great smile that could light up a room. His heart for children was amazing. He will be missed. Thanks for being such a great grandfather and great grandfather.

Larry was a kind man with a loving family. We were fortunate enough to be included. Bernice has been a second mother to us. Their bond was a constant reminder to all that love endures all. I suspect Larry is having a beer with my dad and Bill, at the horse track of course. What a hole in the hearts of many. May God hold you and protect you and shine a light on the Telles family. 

Lorenzo Telles was my brother, but we all called him Alejandro. I have nothing but great memories of this wonderful man who would come to our house and visit us. He was always kind and gentle, just like our dad, the genes were  not just in his looks but in his demeanor. I could not help but to recognize my own father when I would see him and love him for it. He always took time during his visits to talk to us and listen to us, he clearly loved children. As I grew older and had kids of my own, he showed them the same love and attention he gave me as a child and my children loved him too, especially my son Jason. I hope they are both together now, having those great conversations and enjoying each other's company. 
To Bernice, Paula, Lorie and Carlos, I am so sorry for your loss, from the bottom of my heart. I pray for God to give you the comfort and peace you need. With all the love in my heart, Rest In Peace my Brother♥

When I hear anyone speaking of Uncle Larry the first thought is his warm inviting smile. He was a very kind and gentle man with a welcoming presence. As a little girl visiting from CA he always welcomed us with open arms and always gave us a dollar, which was a big deal because we could walk to the store around the corner from my Nana's for an ice cream. He not only welcomed us but my cousins from my mother side. They always got a dollar too! Of course as we got older the dollars stopped but being around him was more than enough. I'm sorry I can't be there with my Aunt Bernice and family, but know my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I have loved uncle Larry, since before he was even my uncle. When he was dating my aunt Bernice, my grandmother used to send me along on their dates to keep an eye on them. I would sit in the backseat of the car, eating my french fries, and making sure there was no hanky-panky going on in the front seat.
But I’m not the only one that loved uncle Larry. I believe everyone that knew him loved him. He was such a kind and generous man. You could have conversations with him about sports or politics or current events and it was always a good time. He was such a wonderful man. We will all miss you so much. You were very loved.

Larry, We covered alot of ground while working for Rocky Mountain Station from California to Colorado and points in between.  I still remember our favorite field study sites in the Sierra Anchas and your favorite, El Oso. I also enjoyed our lunch stops at the Davis-Monthan boneyard. We had plenty of great discussions along the way and I value the friendship we forged. God Bless you and we'll see you down the road. I'll miss you my friend.

Condolences to the Telles family ❤️. I first met this wonderful family thru their daughter Lori who was my best friend in HS . I always felt like part of this family & included in family gatherings & one of my favorites was going with them to San Diego. Mr. Telles was a kind man & always had a smile on his face. I'm so grateful for all the memories I shared with this family. You will forever be in my heart & I love all of you.❤️

Thank you for being our brother Lawrence.  You were a kind and extremely patient person and very loving. I remember our trips to get ice cream you would pick us and take us to the Arctic Circle.  I would look at you and you would just smile at me.  You reminded me of our dad.  Now you are together.  Rest In Peace.  I love you brother your sister Josie. 

Telles family - your love and kindness to all during this difficult time is tremendous.  All of you that have commented have been so loving and warm to all that we need to extend our love to you. We, your extended family, have always experienced this warmth and joy when we meet. Although we didn’t meet with you in person often we felt your love from afar. Because of this, Patti and I have worked diligently to move schedules to travel to Phoenix for our uncle’s services. Our uncle was a special man, I wish we all had been closer in distance, your family was our closest Telles family.  We are leaving tomorrow and will see you beginning Wednesday. Love Sonny

My Uncle Larry was my Godfather and uncle.  From the time I was baptized he was a big part of my life and always had a big smile, hug, and pinch on the cheek for me.   He was always happy to see me and treated me like his own.  
I remember spending summers with my cousins in Phoenix, and Uncle Larry taking us out to dinner for pizza at Salvatore’s, giving us quarters to get ice cream at Thrifty’s!  
I remember big family dinners with my family and the Telles family going for Chinese food and Italian food, I used to look forward to those dinners and spending time with my aunt and uncle and cousins.
Mostly I remember a kind, handsome man, who was my uncle.  He was at times quiet, but get him on a topic he liked and he became a man of many words.  He was kind to all my children, whom to this day remember the quarters and pinch on the cheek.  I was very lucky to call him Godfather & Uncle, He will be missed very much.


We have lost a beautiful soul which will be truly missed and always remain in our hearts. Larry was one our favorite persons to visit on our getaways to Phoenix. We talked about everything and anything there was nothing off limits in our conversations. Larry, Bernice ,Roy, and I would talked over breakfast about the craziest things and laugh.  Roy and I have beautiful memories that will keep Larry in our hearts now and always. This is not goodbye, but a until we meet again. Rest in Paradise my friend.

Dad, the day has come when we can no longer be together, but know you're always remain in my heart. Thank you for showing me, my children, and grandchildren your devoted love and support throughout the years. You touched so many lives and I know that you never even knew it.  Because of your love, our memories have built a special bridge that will bring us peace of mind.  Now that you're resting in peace with the Lord, please watch over us. As I promised not to say "goodbye", I look forward to the joyous day when I meet you on the other side.  I will love you always, Paula Lynne

I have so many great memories of my Dad. He was a wonderful man. He was so kind and generous - and he had a very soft heart for the underprivileged.

He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren so much. They were his pride and joy! He adored my twins and got a big kick out them. He would smile from ear-to-ear. My Dad had a beautiful smile and laugh!

Dad - I couldn't ask for a better Father. You loved and supported our family unconditionally. I hope you are at peace now and I look forward to seeing you on the other side.
