Lucille Marie Armstrong

Lucille Marie Armstrong, 94, was born on July 19, 1923 in Springfield Ohio to William Armstrong and Annabelle Minor Armstrong. She went to be with the Lord on June 6, 2018 in Phoenix, AZ. She was a devout lover of Jesus Christ. She was baptized at First Institutional Baptist Church in Phoenix, AZ on May 1st 1983.

She is survived by her loving sister Winifred Ann (Clarence) Miller. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings William Armstrong Jr., Isabelle Armstrong, Charm Elizabeth Hull, and Robert Armstrong.

Lucille worked for the Federal Government in 1942 and retired in August 1988 with 46 years of service. She is survived by her loving children Richard Augustus (Mary) Armstrong, Charme Rachel Wilkerson of Springfield, Ohio, Cecilia(Sally) Marie Applin of Waponketa, Ohio, Judith Lynn (Jerry) Stewart, Marianne Elizabeth Jones, Berneda Carol Jones, Vicky Joan Jones, Rebecca Ellen Jones, and special granddaughter Joyce Kay Wilkerson all of Phoenix, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Patricia Louise Jones and son Cecil Jones, Jr. III. She is survived by a host of grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A viewing service will be held on June 15th 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at Advantage Funeral Home 6901 W. Indian School Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85033

Funeral services and burial to be held in Springfield, Ohio by Littleton & Rue. Arrangements are pending.
