

Early life and education
Luis Enrique Agudelo was born in San Vicente, Colombia, on August 21st of 1919. His parents were Jesus Agudelo, and Maria Rosa Gil de Agudelo. Luis Enrique was the oldest of twelve kids (four sisters and seven brothers) Two sisters and one brother, still live.
In 1926 at the age of seven, he was moved to Medellin, Colombia to a group of missionary priests and brothers in Christ called, "Los Hermanos Salecianos school of ministry", where he received all his early education and graduated from high school. From there he went to a Christian University called "La Bolivariana", in Medellin, Colombia, where he received a bachelors degree in Science and Mathematics and continued his studies to earn a doctoral degree in Philosophy and Letters. After his studies were completed, Luis Enrique had to decide and be consecrated to be a "Brother" ( like a priest). He would then be committed to teach at "San Ignacio University" until retirement.
Luis Enrique chose at that time to serve as a private professor for the San Ignacio University and give back to the community. A few years later he also taught at a private "School of Business Institute" in Medellin, where he met Maria Ruth Aleman who became two years later his wife for life.
His passion for teaching as a professor in mathematics and later for his own business school he owned with his wife Ruth, called "Instituto de Contadores Asociados" kept him very happy, again giving back to the community as much as he could. He taught for most of his life until retirement.
Marriage and children
Luis Enrique had one wife. Maria Ruth Aleman de Agudelo (who died in August 2nd, 2017). He had three daughters, Martha Nora, Gloria Cecilia and Isabel Christina. He also had seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Luis Enrique, moved from Medellin to the U.S.A in 1963 with his wife, Ruth, and lived near his daughters and grand children in different estates until his natural death in Phoenix, AZ. Luis Enrique enjoyed visiting his siblings and family in Colombia every few years until recently due to not being able to walk.
Luis Enrique, lived a very full healthy life, surrounded with family and community that loved him. Luis Enrique will be very missed by all of us.
His spirit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness and self control, will for ever be with us. His strong walk with Christ and his Faith in Christ will be a family legacy.
Death
Luis Enrique Agudelo died of natural causes in Phoenix, AZ on Sunday, January 27th, 2019.
