It's been 4 years my lil brother since you've been gone! The pain is still in my heart. I miss you every day. I never judged you like others did, how could I,  we were such alike. I always welcomed you with open arms. I still do because I know your spirit lives on. I pray we'll see each other again in Heaven. Until then, keep hitting them jump shots on the Heaven basketball court! I love you forever Luis!

Another year has gone, and I still miss you so much. How I wish you were here to hug you and tell you how much I love you. This new year will be so difficult for me as the third year approaches that you left this cruel world. I can remember you always looking out for me and wanting me to take better care of myself. I promise you that 2024 will be the year that I make  positive changes. I want you to be proud of your mama as I was of you but never had the chance to tell you. I love you beyond any measurements and will continue to live my life to it's fullest until I get to be with you again. Love you Luis with every beat of my heart.

Today I went through the clothes and shoes I have of yours. I started crying. I miss you brother. I miss you so much and my heart aches of pain. I pray and beg God that I get to see you again.  I love you so much Luis. I wish you were here so I can tell you! I never talked or thought bad of you. To me you were and still are my baby brother. I love you!

2 years and 2 months since you left this world baby brother. I still think about you every single day. Since you were a baby I always looked out for you. I feel like you were always meant to come live with me. I wish I had more time with you. I will forever be grateful for the time I had you here. When I found out that you were gone, I didn’t want to believe it because I still felt you here. I know that sounds crazy but I still feel it. I miss you more than words could ever express. I miss your goofy laugh and your smile that lit up everyone. Today I feel you near. I love you so much! I hope you still feel that love somehow. Long Live Luis, my baby brother. 💙

Merry Christmas Luis. It has been 11 months and it still hurts so very much. Everbody says that time will heal my broken heart,but I say, that my life will never be the same without you in it. You should be here with us celebrating Christmas with the family and being your own silly self. We are having breakfast tomorrow with Bogie and the family. You should be there with us, taking a picture like you did last year. You will be greatly missed. Your presence will be felt by us all. Miss you my son, until we meet again. Tomorrow will be 10 months that you left this world. Not a day passes where i do not think about you. I miss you so much. I know that i will think of you everyday for the rest of my life. I spent my 50th birthday sick with covid. I know that you were with me because i could feel your presence. Your sister is here visiting from WA and we will go to visit you very soon. I will continue to make you proud of me and live the rest of my days for you. I Love you my son and we all miss you so very much. The holidays will not ever be the same without you,  and this Thanksgiving there will be an empty space at our table, but Heaven will have another angel at theirs. Love you. Luis forever and ever.
 

Luis, Today marks 9 months that you left us all broken- hearted and our lives torn apart.  It was also a Friday that we will never forget. I miss you so much and not a day goes by that you are not thought of. I know that you would like for me to continue with my everday life. It has been so haed but i am doing it only because i know that each day that i am here means that i am one day closer to seeing you again. I love you beyond any words and wish you were still here with us. I will continue to make you proud of your mama.  Love you for eternity.

Luis, eight months have passed since we lost you. It may seem like just any other day to anyone else, but to our family it is a day that changed our lives forever. We miss you beyond any words. I feel your precence around me everyday and know that you are always there to give me that little push that i need to get going. I can hear you say to me " Come on mama, lets go for a walk". You always looked out for me and wanted the best for me. I promise you that i will take better care of myself, because i know that is what you would want for me. My little brother. Tomorrow is your birthday. I can already say its's going to be an emotional one because it's your first of many to come without you. We miss you so much. I'm always thinking of you Luis. There are times where it's just so hard to still process but I look to God and ask for peace, love and guidance. It helps but then my emotions repeats itself. I know in time I will be more strong. I just think of your wonderful smile. The sound of your voice. Or when you hugged me, it was always tight like you didn't want to let go. I wish you never did. Luis. It has been 5 months since you left us. My heart and soul are broken beyond repair. There is not one day that passes where we do not think of you. We drove through downtown Glendale earlier today your brothers Chris,  David and I,  and we immediately thought about you and shared our memories of you. Everywhere we go we all have memories of you. We all miss you so much. Your pops especially.  He doesnt say much but we know that he is having a hard time dealing with his grief.  I will continue to honor you day by day, by talking about you and keeping your memory alive. We all miss you so much. I look forward to the day when my heart and soul will be whole again. Hi Baby. This is your mama. Just wanted to tell you that i miss you so much. Not one second, minute or day passes that you are not on my mind. As Mother's Day approaches my heart feels an emptiness, because you will not be here with me in your physical form but i know in spirit you will be. You will wrap your arm around me and whisper to me " Happy Mother's Day Mama, I Love you mama" like you always did. I will be there to spend my day with you on Sunday. I Love you baby & your dad, brothers & sister miss you so much. I think it finally hit your dad that you are really no longer with us. He misses you so much. He doesn't say anything but we can tell. Happy Heavenly Easter Luis. This is our first holiday without you and let me tell you, we all miss you beyond any words. I hope you are spending your day with our father and all of our relatives that we have lost in the past. I love you my son and wish you were here to give you a great big hug & kiss. 


Sorry for not hearing about Luis sooner.  Luis was on my basketball and softball teams when he was in the 5th and 6th grade.  Wonderful kid.  Was a great teammate and had a competitive spirit. I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing. I will never forget his smile.  I send my love and prayers to his family during this difficult time. 

To my son. Luis. I cannot believe that 2 months have passed. I keep going back to that Friday when we last saw you. How i wish we could rewind the time to that day. I would have done everything so differently. I would have never left you for one moment. I would have hugged you so tight and never let you go. I would have told you how much i loved you, although i know you always knew how much we all loved you and meant to us.These are the little things that people take for granted. What i would give to have you here with me for one more day. For those who still have all of your children, treasure them and never take them for granted because anything could happen and leave your hearts shattered as ours was on that one Friday . Our fridays will never be the same. I used to look forward to Friday's but now it is the day that changed our lives forever. A day when our hearts were shattered. I Love you my son and not a day or minute goes by that you are not in my thoughts. I will always remember all the moments that we had with you. I thank God for the 18 years that he blessed us with and for choosing your dad and I to be your parents and Bogie, Lydia, Chris and David to be your brother's and. Sister. I was always so proud of you and i know had you lived longer you would have done so much more. I want you to know that we will all be okay and we want for you to be happy and fly high with no worries. I know that we will all see you again, when we are called home. Not a day, hour, minute or second goes by where you're not on my mind. I miss you so much. I'd do anything just to have you back. I know in Heaven you are at peace and it must be wonderful to be there in God's Paradise. I know one day I'll see your beautiful smile little brother. I met Luis at Angelica's house after Eric & Annalisa graduated.  He came up to me and asked if Tristan was my son.  I told him yes and he told me that Tristan was his best friend.   I will never forget that moment.  I can't imagine how you are all feeling & you have my prayers and thoughts.

To my son Luis. Your sudden passing has left a gaping hole in my heart that is inimaginably painful. I do not know how i will ever get passed this heartache. For as long as i live, i will keep your memory alive by talking about you and  not ever forgetting all the joy that you brought to everyone whos life you have touched. I promise to never let your memory die. Until i see you again, please save a special space for me by your side. I love you more than anthing in this world and i long for the day where i can hug you and be by your side in the kingdom of heaven. I Love you my beautiful baby boy. 



I am so heartbroken to hear of this news. I was so fortunate that I was able to teach and coach Luis at Desert Spirit when he was in 7th and 8th grade. Luis had such a warm, caring and generous spirit.  His bright smile lit up the room and everyone always wanted to be around him . He brought so much energy and joy into the classroom and out on the field. Luis will be greatly missed. Sending my thoughts, love and condolences to your family 

I am so incredibly sorry for your loss.  I never met Luis, but he was friends with my son, Addison.  May your sweet boy Rest In Peace.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

If I’m being honest, I don’t even know where to start this. I know what has happened took us all by surprise. I mean, of course he had his ups and downs, but who could ever claim to be without flaw. Luis was truly the most caring, positive, wise, soft spoken, genuine and down to earth person for his age that I have ever met. Come to think of it, I still remember the first time him and I met. The day my sister Jessi took us to that mall. When I first saw him I didn’t even really know what to think nor say at first, it was like meeting a long lost brother, which he would soon become to me.. my brother. I remember when we got to the mall, the first store we looked for was a Zumiez. But of course, they didn’t have one there, so we had to settle for the next best things, Hollister and Vans😂 After getting some nice new clothes(Thank you Jessi), we went to a Taco Bell for a late dinner. If I remember correctly Luis had gotten one of the wraps they had there, and I got my favorite Taco. However, after the mall I only had enough money for one. Luis asked me “How many you want?” I had only wanted one more so I asked if he could get me one more. I remember he said “You sure? because I can get you more” But I only wanted the one, so he got it for me. I even remember telling him “I owe you one” He smiled and said “Nah you’re my lil bro now,  I got you” I thanked him, not just for buying me another taco, but for what he had said.. “Nah you’re my lil bro now, I got you” We will never forget you Luis. I love you brother.

I am heartbroken for your family, and for you.  Such a beautiful soul gone way to soon.  I will miss that beautiful smile.  You were always trying to help my son, and you did.  I will always be grateful for that.  May you rest in peace Luis.  You will always be loved, and never be forgotten.
