Lupita Franco Velarde, age 69, passed away May 16, 2014 in Mesa, AZ. Lupita was born on October 6, 1944 in Phoenix, AZ. to the late Edward and Mary Fimbres. As an adult, she worked for Revlon and retired from them after 30 years. Lupita is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Lani Canta. She is survived by her daughters, Rae Anna Torres (Ray) and Rene Sharma (Hemant); 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and many other family and friends. A visitation will be held for Lupita on Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 N. 27th Ave. Phoenix, AZ. 85009 from 5:00pm to 7:30pm. Services will take place the following day, Friday, May 23, 2014, at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary at 11:00am.
