My girl, my sister, my friend, and my confidential listener. I am not ready to say goodbye and I will be waiting on your phone calls from early morning to late evenings. I was blessed to have met you in the aisle of Target with that white pharmacist jacket on. You were trying to help me find the right makeup foundation and you were also the first woman of color that I had seen in Lone Tree, Colorado. That smile brightened my day and although our destinations had changed, we have remained long distance friends ever since. You shared with me your pain and fears when cancer was first diagnosed and we fought it together. Our sisterhood through our insecurities and family life kept us strong together. You were my hero and I never got to tell you that. South Korea felt like a million miles away this past year but hearing your voice always made me feel like I was home. There were so many times that we cried rivers together and I would make you laugh so hard that the fears and worries of the day disappeared. My tears will slowly fade but the memory of you will last me a lifetime. When we see each other again I expect to hear you say," What's goin' on with the goings on?"

My thoughts and prayers are with Chris and the family. I will miss Linda's infectious laugh and beautiful smile. I remember Linda starting work at US West many years ago, she was a super star and such a fun co-worker. She always had me laughing. Linda's beauty was inside and out. She will be missed and always loved in the hearts of her family and friends. Love you Linda!
