Manuel Arzaga Arreola

Our beloved daddy Manuel Arzaga Arreola (aka Grandpa in the big truck) passed away January 22, 2017 in Phoenix, AZ. Grandpa in the big truck was born in Villa Hidalgo, Durango Mexico and migrated to the USA in 1971.

Married to his first wife and mother of his 5 children for 20 years Catalina Herrera Todakee. His greatest passion was driving semi-truck for over 30 years, he loved playing baseball in his younger years and going to the pool hall. Grandpa in the big truck loved spending time with his family when he was in town to pick up or drop off a load, he was the biggest joke teller and loved to make everyone laugh. He married his second wife Margarita Hernandez of over 20 years and relocated to Phoenix, AZ.

Grandpa in the big truck leaves behind his wife Margarita his children Elvira Ursula (Juan), Manuel Abraham, Leticia, Rosaura & Nancy (Carlos). Step children Ricardo JR (Mikki), Victor & Roximara. Ex wife Catalina, siblings Margarita, Juanito (Jovita), Maria (Rafael), Miguel (Beatriz), Abraham (Ana), Jose Dolores (Micaela), Isidro (Luz) & Ursula (Benito). He also leaves behind 21 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 unborn great grandson & 5 step grandchildren.

Daddy is preceded in death by his parents Abraham & Ursula his brothers Ramon & J. Guadalupe and granddaughter.

We will always love our Daddy (grandpa in the big truck) and he will be forever in our hearts, Daddy will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 31, 2017 from 5:00pm-7:00pm followed by a Rosary at 7:00pm at Maryvale. On Wednesday February 1, 2017 there will be burial services at Maryvale at 10:00am followed by burial at Greenwood Memory Lawn.
