Margaret Ann Silvey

Margaret Ann Silvey passed away on December 1, 2017 at the age of 74, surrounded by her loving family. Margaret Ann was born on March 28, 1943 in Oak Park, IL. She is preceded in death by her parents Arzo and Margaret Meredith. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Jim Silvey; daughter Cindy Silvey (Shauna); sons Bryon Sheehy (Julie) and CJ Silvey (Carrie); Grandchildren April (Rocky), Robin (Andrea), Amanda, Frankie and Jackson; great grandchildren; Jayston, Amelia, Kaitlyn, Kaleb, Kylee, Jax and Sophie; sister Carmella Meredith; and brothers Greg (Nancy) Meredith and Michael (Jan) Meredith.

Margaret was known for her creativity and attention to detail. As a home maker for most of her adul life, Margaret spent many hours ensuring that her family was cared for and that her home was well maintained. In her later years she spent much of her time engaging in the hobbies she loved especially quilting. She enjoyed traveling and visiting family near and far. She will be deeply missed.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Hospice of the Valley for their extraordinary care through the last hours of her life.

Visitation will be held at Advantage Maryvale Chapel, 6901 W. Indian School Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85033, beginning at 11:00am on Friday, December 15, 2017 with a Celebration of Life to commence at 2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Margaret's name to Hospice of the Valley.
