May my beautiful and loving Nana rest in peace. My favorite memory with her, was during my childhood I would always ask her to make me sopita. And put ice cubes to make it cool down. She would always make it for me even if she already cooked another meal.  I'm blessed for the time my girls got to spend with her.

My fondest memory of my mother in law was my first Thanksgiving. I asked if she had made yams with marshmallows, since my mom would always make this. My mother in law didn’t know what that was and asked my husband what it was. He told her and so what she did was go to the store to buy a sweet potato and some marshmallows to try to make this for me! When I saw that she was trying to make me yams and marshmallows, I told her she didn’t need to do that, even though I appreciated it. She set the standards so high for being the best Mom and  Mother in Law anyone could ever ask for! I love you and will miss you dearly!
