passed away peacefully at home on August 27, 2015. Born to Nadine and James Thomas (both deceased) on November 5, 1934 in Phoenix Arizona as their only daughter, she and her three brothers, Alvie Thomas, William Thomas (deceased) and Robert Thomas attended the historic Phoenix Union High School. Frances had five children of her own, William Strickland (deceased), Robert Strickland (deceased), Vicki Winkler, James Strickland, and Randy Bishop. Frances is survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
A gathering will take place from 11a-1pm, followed by funeral services at 1pm on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 N 27th Ave Phoenix, AZ 85009. Family asks for donations to be made to the following charities: Hospice of the Valley, Susan G. Komen, or the American Cancer Society.
