“Grace” as she was known to all, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord at 3:30 A.M. on May 19, 2013. Grace was born in Sylvania, a small town in northern Indiana. She and her husband Alva Bonebrake relocated to Arizona in 1948. Grace worked for Montgomery Ward in Phoenix until her retirement in 1991. In 1993 she went to work for McDonalds where she worked for 15 years, retiring in 2009. Grace, at 93 years of age, was the oldest McDonalds employee in Arizona. The story of her work at McDonalds was published in a local newspaper in Phoenix, dubbing her “Amazing Grace”. Grace was also very active at Northwest Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Alva Bonebrake and her son, Larry Bonebrake Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Diana S. Townley; granddaughters Martha Lenocker and Barbara Shields; grandson Larry Bonebrake Jr; great-grandchildren Jamie Stacy and Jason Stacy as well as numerous other great-grandchildren and great–great-grandchildren. Grace was interred on May 23, 2013 at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, 2300 West Van Buren Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85009. Loved by many and missed by all.
