Martin Marty John Anderson

Age 50, of Phoenix, AZ died unexpectedly, Tuesday, December 13, 2016. Marty is survived and missed by his wife Shu, parents John and Val, brother Richard (Christina), extended family members, friends and colleagues. Marty was born and grew up in Minnesota. After high school he worked in the HVAC business then returned to school, graduating from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management in 1998. He worked for Carlson Real Estate Company, transferred to Phoenix, and later went back to school at ASU. He graduated from W. P. Carey School of Business with an MBA in Financial Management and Markets. Upon graduating he went to work at Arizona Public Safety Personnel Retirement System. He progressed in his career to Deputy Chief Investment Officer. Marty was a well-respected financial analyst and friend to his colleagues and business associates. Marty was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing, and hiking. Marty was married to his wife Shu later in his life and he enjoyed their time together travelling and introducing her to his outdoor interests. A time of sharing about Marty will be at the Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 East Greenway Road, Phoenix, AZ 85022, Thursday 22, 2016 at 2PM with a viewing starting at 1PM. He Left us all too soon
