Martin Robert Woodward

Martin Robert (Bob) Woodward. 75, formerly of Albuquerque, NM, now of Phoenix, AZ, passed away January 24, 2021 as a result of a Traumatic Brain Injury. Bob was born April 27, 1945 in El Paso, Texas. He attended schools in Colorado Springs, CO, and Farmington, NM. He graduated from Fort Lewis College, Durango, CO, with a degree in Microbiology, and the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM, with a Masters Degree in Architecture.

He worked at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN as a Microbiologist/Mycologist; at a private lab in McLean, VA; and as an Architect in Albuquerque, NM.

He retired from ARC (Architectural Research Consultants) in 2011.

He loved being with Barbara, singing and playing his guitar, camping and being with his family and his doggies.

Bob is survived by his soul mate and love of his life his wife of 53 years, Barbara; 2 children Robert Scott (Fanya) and Erin Woodward (Stephen); His granddaughters Sasha of Albuquerque, NM and Amber of Edgewood, NM; their mother Betty VanWagoner of Albuquerque, NM; 4 great grandchildren, Milo, Opal, and Theo of Albuquerque, NM, and Justin, of Edgewood, NM; His sister Aileen Johnson of Farmington, NM; Brother in law Dr Lee Coffman (Carol) of Haines City, FL; Nephew Vernon Johnson (Shelly) and family of N Las Vegas, NV; his niece Velvet Wood (Trent) and family of Las Vegas, NV; Tish Caughran of Albuquerque, NM; his doggies Madisen and Rafael; and many other family members and friends.

Cremation has taken place at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary in Phoenix, AZ. There will be no services.
