Mary & her late husband, Bob, were dear friends for the past 20 years. We did many wonderful things together including traveling to N. Dakota. Mary was a great lady & will be missed.

We met Mary & Bob in November 1995 and an instant friendship began.  Bob was like a brother to us and Mary like a sister.  Spent many happy times with both of them until Bob passed ... Mary & I kept in touch and we were both happy when Jim & I moved back to Arizona in 2015.  "She & I were like sisters"  We know, without a shadow of a doubt, that Mary & Bob are together again. We were  blessed to have visited with Aunt Mary and family about a week before her passing.  I hadn't seen her in so long. Just to hold her hand and whisper in her ear that she was always so beautiful and so filled  with love and laughter made me happy.  That is what Aunt Mary did best .. she was a ray of sunshine that made all of us smile.  There is a belief that if someone you love passes on your birthday they become your guardian angel.  I  feel so very blessed….love you ❤️

At this moment we are all sad for Mary's family and for ourselves that we have lost a very special person from our lives.  But it only takes a second to bring back a memory that brings a smile on our faces of all the times we giggled about something that happened, all the times she jumped at the chance to take a ride with me somewhere, anywhere, just to get out of the house.  She'd wander through any store; groceries, crafts, Consignment; it didn't matter.  We loved hanging out together.  For 10 years Mary was my friend and confidant and she blessed me by introducing me to another dear friend Margie so that we can share with each other the same love we've had for Mary and all the fun memories we both share.

Surprising her at her 60th birthday at Willy and Guillermo’s restaurant, and trying another surprise acting as a pizza delivery driver ( with much help from Cousin Karen). I can still hear the laugh, see the smiles and always feel the love she shared so fully.

I have a special memory of Aunt Mary talking to me about the day she married Milt. She had to babysit Mike Schott and me while Dot, Helen and Ruth went to decorate for the wedding. She said both Mike and I were chattering away while she put bobby pin curls in her hair. We evidently picked up the pins and dropped them all over the room. She almost had to get married with half of her hair curly but not the other.  She just giggled like it was yesterday and said that was one of her very favorite memories.  I will miss those fun moments with a very special lady! Love you to the moon and back, Mary.  Love and prayers to everyone who will miss her smile.
