Mary Frances O'Kane, 93 born on January 24, 1922, has gone to join her beloved husband of 55 years, Daniel, with her family at her side, including her son James, her daughter Posey (and her husband Louie), her grandchildren McKenna, Katie and Danny on Saturday, May 2, 2015. Mary, the eldest of 5 from Brooklyn, New York is survived by her sister Catherine Nolan of Rockville Center, New York and her Great Granddaughter Olivia and by her daughter Maire Ellen O'Kane of New York. She also leaves her loyal pal and devoted companion, Barney. She spent many years as a Secretary in the medical field and then a homemaker. Her sense of humor and sarcasm will be missed by many. There will be a funeral mass for the repose of her soul on Tueday, May 12, 2015 at 10:00 A.M.at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 11001 N. 40th Street, Phoenix, with a reception immediately following. At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, please donate to her favorite charity, St. Vincent de Paul or the Humane Society in her memory.
