When we learned that you had COVID, our hearts immediately sank.
But you showed determination, power, and strength.

In isolation you confronted, COVID face to face.
We were not allowed to visit, to give you an embrace.

We were devastated, worried, and stunned.
All that we could do, was pray God’s will be done.

You fought the COVID battle, you ran the COVID race,
with incredible dignity, honor, and grace.

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound, you’re saved for eternity.
You once were lost, but now you’re found, were blind, but now you see.

You’re in heaven now, so spread your wings and fly.
We’ll see you again, in the sweet by and by.

No pain, no hurt, no COVID anymore.
We’ll see you again … on that beautiful shore.
