Melanie worked on the property on which I lived, 
and  was always so kind and helpful to me, and I 
wish I would have shared that with her so that 
she knew how wonderful she was as an 
Administrative Assistant and as a friend. 
One of my first interactions with Melanie 
was when I had misplaced my mobile phone, 
which had all the info I needed for a doctor's 
appointment I was late for, and I went to the 
Office on the property to seek help and, 
without a second thought, she gave up her 
lunch break to help me find my phone. Every 
time I went into the office for help, she was 
always so nice and helpful. She was always 
smiling and genuinely happy to see you.

I wanted to let both her sister and mom 
know about a conversation I had with 
her where she told me about a trip that 
she had just taken with you both. She 
told me about a weekend vacation you 
all had taken and she said it was one 
of the best times she has ever had and 
she told me how much fun you all had 
together. As she went into more detail 
about the vacation, I remember thinking 
to myself how I envied the relationship 
you all had with each other. She always 
talked so lovingly about you and loved 
you both dearly. My prayers are with 
you all.

  When I look back on our times together they included math class where we chatted and laughed and then there was badminton!  You were a precious friend and I am so sorry that we didn't get to meet up before you left us.
There is no more pain, tears and suffering with the Father!  You are loved.

Sharon and Sheridan I am so sorry for your loss.  I am praying for you all.  Take comfort that Melanie is the Lord and she is smiling.

Thank you for your friendship Mel. We had some pretty awesome times. Like our "Rock 'N Bowl" nights. Those were highlights of my adolescence and I'm glad I shared them with you. It's hard to wrap my head around the fact that you are no longer here with us in body, but I know in my heart you are still here in spirit and will always be with us in memory. You were an extremely strong woman who always always always had a contagious smile on your face. You enjoyed life fully and never ever looked back, only forward. 

I want to express my deepest condolences to Sharon, Connie and Sheridan. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I know how strong you all are and that you will get through this hard time and be able to think of your memories not with tears but with laughter and fondness. Know that Melanie is with the Creator watching over us all.
