Melba Jean Ludwig, 90, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on September 15, 2014. Melba Jean was an avid reader, bird watcher and draftsman; she loved playing scrabble and cards. She remained passionate about life and dedicated to her family and church. Everyone who knew her will remember her inquisitive nature, positive energy and warm smile. She is preceded in death by her husband, George and survived by her daughters, Sharman Paulus and Carol Kleber and a son, Brooks. Memorial services will be held 4 pm on Friday, September 19, 2014, followed by a reception at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, 3839 E. Shea Blvd., Phx, AZ 85028.
